January Update

Our injured little puppy...:(

So little and cute!! He loves sleeping on anything that smells like us, especially the kid's stuff!

I was taking a picture of our double stroller to sell and David insisted I take a picture of him, which is a rare occasion!
Biscuit LOVES the snow! He would follow in the kids footprints and eat the snow. He couldn't get enough of it!

Doesn't Maggie look so dang pretty in this picture?! She can be so sweet!

What a month January has been. It has good by so fast. We have loved our newest edition to the family, little Biscuit! Even though we had a slight accident just a mere 4 days after Santa brought him to us. He had to have a cast on his leg for 10 days, because one of our dear children was holding him by his front 2 legs...this is what they told us, after we saw him limping. There was a little bone that was broken on his leg. It was so sad seeing him for the first little bit, because he was trying to walk, but could only go backwards. After he got the cast off, he was as good as new and we haven't had a problem since.
In other news we had a little bit of drama with this pregnancy. Trish was having the kids over for a sleepover, so we took them to her house Friday, January 21! I was so excited because David and I were going to go out to eat and then go home to a nice and quiet house! Well on the way home from Pleasant Grove I started having contractions about 4 minutes apart. I didn't tell David for a little bit because I really wanted to go out to eat and get some good food!:) Then he started to notice and so I told him that it was probably because I had to go to the bathroom, but they continued, until we got home and laid down for a couple of hours. Then David put me on strict bed rest all day Saturday. On Sunday it was our stake conference, so we went. About an hour into church I started having contractions again, only this time they were 2 minutes apart! David looked over and saw the pain in my face and so we left early. After a couple more hours and a nice warm bath, they finally slowed down. I went to my doctor on Tuesday and he said that since I am getting the progesterone shots, that is one of the side effects, very strong and close contractions. He said that as long as I didn't have more than 6 in one hour and didn't have any of the other signs of labor with it, I should be fine but to take it easy and know my limits! I also didn't dilate at all, which is awesome! So I guess those weekly shots really are paying off! I am now 28 weeks, so just a couple more months to go!! I am just lucky to have such a great husband, who forces me each day to lay down and take it easy. He even takes the kids to the stores and other places, so that I can have to house to myself and to let the kids get out of this house! He is amazing and I am so grateful to how good he is to me!!
Other than that January has been pretty uneventful and we hope we can say the same for February!!

The Torgerson's Visit!!

My new Refrigerator!!!!
Mee-mee, David and Maggie on the train!!

Building a snowman!

The Finished product!!

We had a great time with the Torgerson's visit! They were able to be here for all the December birthdays, which was really neat! Maggie had a list of things that she wanted to do while they were here. One was to build a snowman, which as you can see they did!! She has also been talking about riding a train with Mee-mee for about 3 months~ We had originally planned on riding the Train downtown and go to see the lights, but then we just got way too busy and it was hard to get everyone's schedules together and then when we could all go it would be raining...so we didn't make it downtown. But luckily the mall has a little train that takes you around it, so Maggie got her wish and road the train with Mee-mee! It was amazingly busy while they were here. I don't think we really had much downtime, because of all the Christmas projects and birthday celebration planning that had to take place. We had such a good time with them here and are looking forward to their next visit out here, after we add our little Elizabeth!

David's 30th Birthday!!

2 Davids working on one project together...there is bound to be an argument!:)
Present time for Daddy!!

His Birthday waffle!
David turned the big 3-0 this year! We were very lucky to have his family here for it. For David's Dad's Christmas present this year we did some family research for his side of the family and submitted the names to the temple to do their work for them! We scheduled it for David's birthday and it really was neat! David, Mom, Dad, and Austin started the day off by going to do the baptisms, then they came home and we did breakfast. Then we went and did the rest of the temple work that afternoon. It was a really neat experience and I am so glad that we were able to do it! It was especially neat (for me personally) when we did the sealings for them. The spirit was so strong and it really was special. Then that night for dinner we (adults!!) went out to eat at David's favorite restaurant, Red Robin! It was a pretty full and fun day and I hope David enjoyed it as much as I did!:)

Maggie's 3rd Birthday!!

Maggie was so excited about her Hello Kitty Cake!! It turned out really cute!

So many presents for the little girl!
Maggie's 3rd Birthday was very low key, which I am pretty sure she enjoyed. After David's big party, Christmas, and a few other parties in between she was a little partied out. On Christmas day she had gone to lay down by herself for a few hours and she didn't talk that much that day either! Sherrie was very worried about her because usually Maggie is right in the middle of everything wanting to know everything about everything. David and I informed Meemee that Maggie needs her down time and alone time, which she hadn't had in a while! So for Maggie's birthday, since it was on a Sunday and the day after Christmas, we had a small family party at the house. She loved all of her new toys! She also kept reminding everyone that it was her special day!! I can't believe she is 3 years old! She is a very entertaining girl and loves to talk and try to be in charge! We love having that little girl a part of our family!!

David's 5th Birthday!!

This is the pillow pet that Gabby got for David. After he got this he said he no longer wanted a dog for Christmas because he had a dog. He also would say, "Mom, I'm in love!!" Good gift Gabs!!
Pizza time!!!

Some of the guests!
Playing the "Minute to Win It" Games

My little boy is 5 years old!!! We have never really had a birthday party for him with kids other than family, so I decided we would have a big bash for his big 5th Birthday!! I kept asking him where he wanted to have his party and would give examples like Jump Zone, Chucky Cheese, ect. but he kept insisting he wanted his party at home. So I finally gave in and said "Ok." It was quite the party. We had about 17 kids in our house and you could tell!:) We had some "Minute to Win It" games planned, pizza, cake and presents. All I can say is I would pay almost any amount of money to have the party somewhere else. I am a huge believer in paying someone else to set up and clean up and entertain. But David did have a great time! He got some great gifts and had a great time hanging out with all of his friends!
