Biscuit's Haircut!!

Before
After
Biscuit got his first hair cut today and he looks completely different! He is still as cute as can be, but a new kind of cute!:) The kids were excited to see him and love his new do. The groomers said that he was one of the best dogs they have ever worked with! The kids also wanted to go and pick him up with me because they had little baby chicks at the store and the kids just loved looking at them. In baby news I am almost positive she will be here in just a few days at the most and I will not miss being pregnant!:)

New TV

And Chairs!:) David found these chairs online for free and he just had to have them! He was pretty excited about them! They are very nice, but I am still more excited about the TV!:)
Finally, after sooo many years of having our amazingly heavy 250 pound TV we have upgraded to a beautiful (and light) new TV!!
We have been wanting a new TV for the living room for a while now, but so many things came before it! But after years and years of waiting, we finally came into the 21st century! It feels good! We were planning on waiting until our next paycheck to get a TV. David had the one he wanted all picked out, but then he decided to just stop by Best Buy last night and found this for an amazing deal that we just couldn't pass up! We did not get a stand for it yet, so it looks kind of ghetto on our ugly entertainment center! It looks pretty funny so high up! The kids were pretty excited about it too.
David also got some new chairs for us for free. He loves looking for free stuff or great deals on this local news website!
In other news, I am 35 weeks along today!!!!! Which is so dang exciting, because I am that much closer to getting this child out of me. I am so done being pregnant. I think it is the fact that I have just been laying around for 90% of the time for the past 9 weeks and I have had nothing else to think about except all the little pains and discomforts of pregnancy. I have my check up next Monday, so we will see where I am at with everything. I am just so anxious and excited and impatient. At least I have a lot of distractions this coming week to keep my occupied! Wish me luck!!:)

Our New Van

These were the best shots I could get right now! I didn't feel like driving it outside!:)
After almost 7 years of marriage, almost 2 years with only one car and after 2 kids with one on the way, it has finally happened...we got a new VAN!!! I have been wanting a van for a couple of years now. I am all for the convenience and don't care that I am a minivan mom! If that is what I have to be to have a nice spacious car where all you have to do is push a button to get the doors open for the kids, then I am just fine with that! David and I have been saving for a few months for this little investment of ours and have spent hours online and at different car dealers before deciding on this one. It just seemed perfect for us and the kids are sooooo excited about the "magical car" that opens magically!! They especially love the color and they keep informing everyone (especially Dad) that it is Mommy's car and not Daddy's! They say that Daddy has the little car! It is sad because I am not really able to drive it too much, since I am supposed to be laying down most of the day, but I did take the kids to put some gas in it and they were just so excited. It was pretty cute! We bought it last Thursday night. We saw an add online for it and decided we might as well go and look at it. I really was not thinking that we would be driving a new car home, but we did and it felt great! It was also exciting that we paid cash for it. I love that I can say that and that we won't be paying thousands of dollars of interest on it! And now that we have my van, we can start focusing on saving for more fun things, like a new swing set for my sweet little kids and trips to Arkansas to show off little Elizabeth! I don't know if you can tell, but I am just a little excited these days about having 2 cars!!

Another Home Makeover!!

The playroom before and after the wood floors!

The living room before the new paint job and wood floors

And After!!!! Sooooo pretty!!!

We have been wanting to put wood floors in the living room down stairs for a while now. So after we got a little puppy that kept peeing in the play room and making it smell awful, David started tearing carpet out this past Monday. The kids love their new floor, but little David keeps insisting that we should now paint the play room a new color because, "the color is really pooping me out" as he always says! Then last night (Friday) we started the living room. After a long day of work today, it is all done and Gorgeous!!!! We love it! We figured it would be a perfect time to paint it as well, since it would be pretty easy with concrete on the floor. It just looks a million times better and we couldn't be more pleased with it! It was unfortunate that I couldn't do much of anything to help out with it. I was going crazy just watching. David did a great job all by himself!! I am so glad we got this done before my parents come next month, so they can see it! Can't wait for our visitors in less than a month!!!

Spring Weather

Look how cute they are, even with chocolate all over Maggie's face!
Maggie and David have become creative on what to play with, until we are able to get a swing set for them!:)
David loved playing with the remaining snow and making some mini-snowmen!
Biscuit loved having the company outside
Oh the 3 year old smile for a picture! Cheeeeese!

This week we have had some great weather here! It has been in the 50s, which is soooo warm for Utah! Especially for this time of year. I think that we have had more rain this year than snow, which I am so happy about. It's amazing what a little time outside can do for our sanity. I am completely ok with an inch or 2 of snow every few weeks, as long as it doesn't stay long!
I can't believe it is already March and could not more happier! I have been on "modified" bed rest for the past 5 weeks. I am still able to do a few limited things around the house and get out about once a week, so that I don't lose my mind. Being with my 2 children for 24 hours straight can be enough to drive me crazy. Maggie likes to get out and about as much as I do, so this has been hard for her. David takes them out, but it's usually just once or twice a week and that just isn't enough for Maggie sometimes! I am trying to get ready for little Elizabeth as much as I can without doing much of anything, which can be a little challenging. We are planning on her coming the last week of March, which makes me so excited and yet so anxious at the same time. When I think about not having contractions every hour, being able to bend over to pick things up, walking without being out of breath, seeing below my huge expanding stomach, finishing all the projects that I have had to put on hold, holding a sweet little new baby, and so many other things, that is when I get so excited to be done with this pregnancy. But when I think about having a newborn in the house, no sleep, being pretty much glued to her for the first 6 months, making sure my older kids do not harm her in any way by "helping" and all the things that I keep remembering that come with a little baby, I start to freak out and hope that I can do it and still have my sanity! See this is what happens, when I have all day everyday to think about it. I am just excited that my mom will be able to be out here to help out for the first week...that is as long as Elizabeth comes, when I think she will! :) Thank goodness for Moms!!
