Time is flying by way too fast with this little one.  She is almost 7 months old.  She is in such a cute phase for pictures that I decided even I couldn’t screw up taking some of her especially with all the pretty fall colors around.  So we went and took some pictures of her at a little park.

We (and by we I mean I) decided to take the kids to the circus this year.  I think the last time I went was with Little David back when he was 2 or 3.  David I don’t think had ever been to a real circus and was not looking forward to it. He was convinced it would be boring and geared more towards kids, luckily he was wrong! It was so much fun. The kids all loved it, even Lizzy.  But I think the one who enjoyed it the most was Parker.  He even brought his Little People tiger with him and couldn’t be happier, when the real tigers came out. He just kept pointing to his tiger and then the real tigers and screaming, “Tigers, tigers, tigers!!!”  It was so cute.  We all loved the tigers and elephants, but I think that our favorite part were the dogs.  They were so cute!!  We had some great seats for it too and was well worth it.  Lizzy enjoyed most of it as well and even got in a little nap on Daddy.  I love taking our kids to these kind of fun things that hopefully they will remember forever!

Baseball

We signed David up for Baseball this fall. He was very hesitant about it and kept insisting he wanted to do soccer again. I asked him why he wanted to do soccer and he said because he has done it before…Soccer really wasn’t for David.  It was basically running back and forth between the 2 goals for an hour because at his age that is what is actually going on.  So I told him he should just try baseball once and see if he might like it. So he did! For 4 weeks he had a game every Tuesday and Thursday for one hour. It was a coach pitch one and for the most part it was pretty entertaining.  David came a long way in those few weeks, still not the star, but getting better every game. The first half of the season was spent in the bright sun always right on us and so hot, but then it cooled down and was freezing!! I think we had one or two games that were just perfect weather, but the rest were either way too cold or way too hot! David had a great time though and was very entertaining as he would talk to the other team on the bases.  I think he would have won for most sociable player! I love how just has no fear. It is pretty fun to watch this kid of mine!

Way back in May, David got an award for his drawing of the Statue of Liberty that he drew at school.  His principal presented him with an award at a little assembly in the library one morning.  He was pretty excited about it and we were so proud of him.  He really is a good little artist and has a great imagination and I love to see how his mind sees things! Such a great kid!!

2 Cute little Kids

Parker and Lizzy are getting to be really good friends! We set up the baby swing outside a few weeks ago and Lizzy just loves it.  Parker picked out his Halloween costume a couple of weeks ago and LOVES wearing it and just can’t get enough of it.  He got to go to a Halloween Birthday party last week and wore it and just was so adorable in it.  He loves getting new things and insists on wearing whatever it may be all the time.  His other favorite thing to wear are mittens.  It is hilarious. He wears them everyday no matter how hot or cold it is outside and just thinks they are the best things.

These two kids are so different and both so entertaining in their own way! Such fun kids!!

BYU Game

So last year some friends of ours, the Johns, had their parents in town for Conference weekend and her dad is a huge BYU fan, but Alice-Anne and Gary don’t have the channel that the game is on, so they came over to our place to watch it.  This year was our second annual game night.Smile  Last year it was just Alice-Anne and her dad, but this year since the game started a little earlier we had the whole family over.  As most people know I take any excuse I can to make too much food for any get together, so I spent the day making Cheesecake tarts, Oreo Cheesecake Tarts, chick-fila chicken nuggets, coconut chicken, bacon wrapped chicken and marshmallow cupcakes…I think that was it.Smile  What can I say I love to bake and cook and especially for a crowd.  It was a fun night and the kids had a great night too.  They all play so well together and are just so cute to watch with each other.  The picture is of them all watching a movie in David and Parker’s room at the end of the night.  Maggie and their son Spencer are the same age and were both in our Co-op preschool last year and just a few days ago Maggie said to me, “Mom, aren’t you supposed to marry someone that is your best friend?”  I said, “yep!”  She then said, “Oh good, I think I will marry Spencer then!” I told her that would be a great choice, but wait a few more years just to be sure!Winking smile  We are so glad to have them as friends out here and they always help us not miss Arkansas as much and glad to have such great friends out here!

Little Cousins

Look at these 2 sweet cousins! Lincoln and Lizzy are only 4 days apart and are just too cute together! Don’t you love how Lizzy has her arm around little Lincoln? This was taken the day before Giselle and Kevin  moved to California. We watched Lincoln, so they could pack and he had the best time with us! He was a perfect little baby the whole afternoon and we can’t wait to get these 2 together in December!Smile

Lizzy 6 Months

P1050532P1050533P1050534

Isn’t she just the cutest and happiest girl ever!! Elizabeth is growing like a weed and is still just as sweet as can be!  She loves her baby food and has gotten into the fun phase of spitting it out, while laughing.  She loves taking baths with Parker and Maggie and just looks so big! She sits like a pro, but still is not mobile at all.  She can roll, but really has no need to with 3 over protective siblings.Smile  She got her first 2 bottom teeth within about 5 days of each other and was very “grumpy” for her, which meant that she just wanted me to hold her a little more then normal.  She is getting more and more blonde hair everyday and has lost almost all of her baby hair.  She loves grabbing at any and everything that is even close to her.  She is 18 pounds 2 ounces which is the 90th percentile and is about 26 inches which is the 70th percentile.  Some say she is big! She has more rolls everyday and gets a little louder everyday.  If David or I start talking to her she just lights up.  She is getting more cautious of strangers. She loves being in her carrier still and in her stroller.  She is not sleeping through the night, but will sleep without being fed as long as she is next to me or snuggling with someone, which all of my kids ended up sleeping with me until about 7 or 8 months, because I think it is easier than getting up at night and the other 3 have made the transition just fine, when I was ready for them to.  She really is just a joy to be around and we love having her.  I still can’t believe that she is already half a year old!! Time flies!!
