What Happens When I leave David Incharge of the Kids....

David forgot to give the kids dinner one night, when I was out. So I got home to find my babies like this...I don't know what to say!

This is another night I put David in charge of getting Maggie dressed for bedtime. Yes that is a bathing suit top on my poor daughter for going to bed in! What can I say?!

One of David's favorite things to do is to mismatch the kids pajamas on purpose to drive me crazy! Another thing he does is mismatches the sippy cups. That may not seem like a big deal to most of you, but I just can't stand it. And the kids have also figured out when their daddy has done something like that and usually will not take what he offers them and then throws the object, while looking at him in disgust. It does make me laugh though, when he puts Maggie in something like this!!!

My little Maggie Pie has earned a new nickname this week...Maggie the Menace. She really is a little menus! I have never seen such a busy little girl who is so into everything and so emotional about everything. So just an example...I had made a lemon cake and put it in a cake holder on our island. We were all downstairs watching a show, or so we thought. We heard this weird banging coming from upstairs that sounded like glass was being banged onto something. So I ran upstairs and there was little Maggie. She had pushed a chair over to the table and had somehow gotten the very heavy glass top off of it and knocked the cake onto the table. She looked so proud of herself, when I caught her. Another Maggie story, which also has to do with food! So I had made some bread a few nights ago and had wrapped in some plastic wrap and and put it on the counter. I had just finished cleaning the kitchen and gone down stairs to relax. Maggie and Olivia were in their favorite room in the house, Pam and Micha's room! I came back upstairs to get something and i noticed some bread on the floor, but I didn't really think much of it. Then I heard Pam asking Maggie why she had bread in her bed. Maggie had gotten a full loaf of my bread and taken it into the room and gotten back on the bed to share it with Olivia, her BFF! Oh Maggie... so smart and yet sooooooo into EVERYTHING. She really does crack us up all day long. You just never know what she is going to say or do next. I love having her around and am always amazed at how funny and silly she can be. She is my little Menace~

Happy 5 Years!!

So July 22nd was mine and David's 5 year anniversary! David completely outdid himself! He kept telling me that we were not doing anything until Friday night, so I wasn't prepared at all, when he told me on Tuesday night to go and pack my bags because he got a hotel room for us. I was so dang excited and surprised! The hotel was awesome! Then he kept telling me that he had to work the next afternoon, so I thought we would be heading home around noon. So we woke up around 8:00 the next morning thanks to a wake up call!:) Then we went and played putt-putt golf, which I won the first game and then I LET David win so he wouldn't be in a bad mood the rest of the day.;) Then we went downtown and saw the Joseph Smith movie, which was a great movie! Then we went and got some lunch and then we went and got a couple's massage. It was awesome!!!! Then we went to our favorite restaurant Market Street Grill (yum) and then we went to see Harry Potter. It was the best day EVER!! David really outdid himself and had every detail planned out down to the minute. He had directions to everything and all of it timed out perfectly. He was so thoughtful and sweet and it reminded me just why I married him. He makes everything better in my life. It has been a great 5 years and I am so glad he is my hubby! Thank you baby for everything you do to make my life AMAZING! I coundn't ask for a better husband.

So here are a few pictures of our new place!! We got the keys today and are pumped!!! It is awesome!!!! Here are a few pictures of the house. I forgot to get any of the front of the house. There are at least 8 rose bushes out in front and I can't even begin to count how many are in the back! So pretty!! I will post some better pictures later, but this is the general idea of it!

My Fun Kids!

David and Maggie are just so funny these days! They made a huge mess with one of these potted flowers that I got, but by the time I saw the mess they were already cleaning it up! Anyways, I can't wait to get into our house!!! AAHHHH!!! I don't know if everyone knows, but we are moving into a house next weekend! It is just perfect for us and kindof just fell into our laps. I can't wait to have a backyard. The kids are just going to go crazy with it I think. It has an apple tree, pear tree and a grapevine!! It also has a garden, so I will be trying to figure all that out. I think David and Maggie would love "helping" me with all the yard and garden work! It is a week away and I feel like I have nothing ready for it! Oh well. It will all get done somehow! I am so excited too because the Torgersons are coming out here and will be here Memorial Day. David can't stop talking about it. Everyday he says, "Meme, Papa, Austin coming?" I have to tell him no not today just a few more days. He is going to be so dang excited to see them. So everyone just keep in mind that we will have plenty of extra space for all the visitors.;);)

What a Month!!

David and Maggie have really been getting along pretty well these days. They even play together! They are sharing muffin in the top picture and then having a tea party in the bottom one!

What a month March was! It seems like our little family was sick for almost the whole month. I was able to go to Texas for my Granddad's funeral. I was gone from Tuesday to Sunday. It was my first time away from the kids. I missed them for sure, but it was relaxing just deciding to go to the store and not have to pack all the diapers, wipes, sippy cups, and everything else kids require. But I was happy to get home to see my little babies. I walked through the door and they heard me come in. They both came running down the stairs and jumped into my arms. It was nice to see I was missed! So I have been very behind with updated blogs, but here are some really cute pics of the kids. They really are some fun kids. They are both little talkers and it is a rare moment, when one of them isn't chatting my ears off. But I love how much they love to talk!
