Cowboy Dave and Bumblebee Maggie!!








Here are some pictures of the kids in their costumes! They look sooooo cute! They are having a blast. We have a few minutes to spare between the Trunk or Treat and all the cousins coming over to go trick or treating, so I thought that I would post some of the pictures of them for the Grandparents in Arkansas to see!

Where to Start?!!

Maggie and David were really into the pumpkins this year. They both helped with taking the seeds out and were having a great time!
Giselle's is on the left with a bat and the word FAT. Little Dave's is the Transformer, Maggie's is Minnie Mouse, I did an owl and David did some kind of computer sign!

It was so much fun having the kids so excited about Halloween. David is going to be Cowboy Dave and Maggie is a bumble bee!

Oh my what a month! I can't believe it is the last day of the month! Where does the time go? I have been falling behind! My computer has been acting weird for a while now and then it just went dead one day. It was pretty old, but still depressing. So David got me a laptop for $10. It was pretty nice for $10, but it weighed about 20 pounds and was probably at least 10 years old. Then David really surprised me for my birthday and got me a BRAND NEW one!!! I was shocked and sooooo happy! He did great! The kids are both doing well. Just getting so big and funny. Both of them are just talking up a storm. David's favorite thing to say is, "Don't forget about me" and "hey that wasn't very nice." Maggie just screams a lot and mimics everything we say! They are a ton of fun these days! Not too much else is going on. We are enjoying have Giselle with us. She is hilarious and always good for a laugh. Anyways here are a few pictures of us from the past month!

I have been really bad about taking pictures lately. I need to be carrying around my camera to catch all the funny things these kids do! So I had been wanting to buy Maggie and David a new toy of some kind for the backyard, and we were at Shopko one day and saw the play fort thing on clearance for $60. I was so excited and so was little David. I kept showing him other options, but his was the one he wanted! So I took the tag thing to the front and paid for it. Then I told them that I would come back and pick it up, because I had to go and get a truck for it. I went back a couple of hours later and went in to get it and the guy at the service desk was like, "ahhhhh man we actually didn't have that anymore when you bought it earlier." I was soooooo mad. They did not even have it even though they took my money and said they did. So he said he could call around if I wanted him to and I told him I paid for it and they would be getting me what they advertised they had for the same price. I was so frustrated with him. So he called around and luckily he found one in Murray, so we went and picked it up after an extra hour. The good news is that the kids LOVE it! I can't wait to add more fun toys to our backyard. It is so big and just calling for more toys and all kinds of fun stuff!

Maggie went peepee and poo-poo in the potty last week and wanted some panties to wear, so she got some Dora ones and was sooooo excited about them!

What Happens When I leave David Incharge of the Kids....

David forgot to give the kids dinner one night, when I was out. So I got home to find my babies like this...I don't know what to say!

This is another night I put David in charge of getting Maggie dressed for bedtime. Yes that is a bathing suit top on my poor daughter for going to bed in! What can I say?!

One of David's favorite things to do is to mismatch the kids pajamas on purpose to drive me crazy! Another thing he does is mismatches the sippy cups. That may not seem like a big deal to most of you, but I just can't stand it. And the kids have also figured out when their daddy has done something like that and usually will not take what he offers them and then throws the object, while looking at him in disgust. It does make me laugh though, when he puts Maggie in something like this!!!

Maggie the Menace

My little Maggie Pie has earned a new nickname this week...Maggie the Menace. She really is a little menus! I have never seen such a busy little girl who is so into everything and so emotional about everything. So just an example...I had made a lemon cake and put it in a cake holder on our island. We were all downstairs watching a show, or so we thought. We heard this weird banging coming from upstairs that sounded like glass was being banged onto something. So I ran upstairs and there was little Maggie. She had pushed a chair over to the table and had somehow gotten the very heavy glass top off of it and knocked the cake onto the table. She looked so proud of herself, when I caught her. Another Maggie story, which also has to do with food! So I had made some bread a few nights ago and had wrapped in some plastic wrap and and put it on the counter. I had just finished cleaning the kitchen and gone down stairs to relax. Maggie and Olivia were in their favorite room in the house, Pam and Micha's room! I came back upstairs to get something and i noticed some bread on the floor, but I didn't really think much of it. Then I heard Pam asking Maggie why she had bread in her bed. Maggie had gotten a full loaf of my bread and taken it into the room and gotten back on the bed to share it with Olivia, her BFF! Oh Maggie... so smart and yet sooooooo into EVERYTHING. She really does crack us up all day long. You just never know what she is going to say or do next. I love having her around and am always amazed at how funny and silly she can be. She is my little Menace~

Happy 5 Years!!

So July 22nd was mine and David's 5 year anniversary! David completely outdid himself! He kept telling me that we were not doing anything until Friday night, so I wasn't prepared at all, when he told me on Tuesday night to go and pack my bags because he got a hotel room for us. I was so dang excited and surprised! The hotel was awesome! Then he kept telling me that he had to work the next afternoon, so I thought we would be heading home around noon. So we woke up around 8:00 the next morning thanks to a wake up call!:) Then we went and played putt-putt golf, which I won the first game and then I LET David win so he wouldn't be in a bad mood the rest of the day.;) Then we went downtown and saw the Joseph Smith movie, which was a great movie! Then we went and got some lunch and then we went and got a couple's massage. It was awesome!!!! Then we went to our favorite restaurant Market Street Grill (yum) and then we went to see Harry Potter. It was the best day EVER!! David really outdid himself and had every detail planned out down to the minute. He had directions to everything and all of it timed out perfectly. He was so thoughtful and sweet and it reminded me just why I married him. He makes everything better in my life. It has been a great 5 years and I am so glad he is my hubby! Thank you baby for everything you do to make my life AMAZING! I coundn't ask for a better husband.
