I love this time of year for many reasons. One of them being the Primary Program! It is my favorite time at church. The cute voices singing, the waving so proudly to family in the audience, the sweet talks they memorize for us! All of it just brings the spirit so sweetly into the meeting. This year was Maggie’s first and she was so excited! I am truly amazed at how well they did. They had their parts down just perfect. Maggie and David were some of the few that actually had their parts memorized. We were so proud of them! Since Maggie is a Sunbeam, her class had special helpers (the 11 and 12 year olds) Maggie was not ok with this arrangement. One of the primary workers told me that she started crying, when she saw who her buddy was going to be. It was a little boy. When we asked her why she didn’t want him to be her buddy, she said it was because he was not happy, when he talked. I laughed pretty hard! So her special helper was her teacher, Sister Sessions. Oh, such fun memories! We were also excited because David’s Grandma Torgerson and Uncle Dereck came to watch the program with us. Maggie and David were so happy to have some family there!:)

7 Months
Parker is 7 months old. I can't believe it!:) He has learned so much in the past month. He is doing the army crawl and close to doing a real crawl. He can get from laying to sitting on his own. He has started pulling himself up on things. His legs just aren't strong enough to hold himself up yet. He babbles a lot. He loves following Maggie and David around and he loves playing in his bedroom with all of his toys. He loves eating...as you can probably tell from the picture!:) He feeds himself like a pro! He isn't a huge fan of baby food and always wants to eat what we are eating. He has his 2 bottom teeth. He loves being around new people and puts on quite a show for them. He smiles and squeals around new people. He loves giving mommy big hugs. He does a little clapping thing with his hands, when he gets excited. He loves "petting" Biscuit and by petting I mean pulling his fur. :)
He loves playing with anything that has batteries and that we use a lot (aka controllers, phones, anything in our hands) We have given him a controller of his own, which usually entertains him until he sees one of ours. Everything goes in the mouth. He has gotten so much happier and gets himself to sleep about 85% of the time. After his 2 bottom teeth came in he was sleeping awesome. He was sleeping from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Then a couple of weeks later he started waking up all the time again. I think his top teeth are coming in now, so I can't blame him for not sleeping well. He is a fun baby to have around and we laugh everyday at his ways! He is a special baby boy!:)
