Every 2 Weeks

So it has become a habit of little David's to have a need to go to the doctor every single 2-3 weeks. Our last visit was on August 4, when the doctor said that he most likely had sinuses and that he wasn't going to prescribe him anything to see for sure if it was a virus or in fact sinuses. Then this morning was supposed to be his first day of school, which I was very excited about, but he woke up and started throwing up and his asthma kicked in too. So I called the doctor and told them he was wheezing and they said to bring him in right away. I took him and Maggie in and they did the pulsar thing and saw that he was having quite a hard time breathing so they started giving him a breathing treatment, which he always hates and I went into explaining his whole life history of sickness. Then on the way home he threw up again for the 6th time today in the car though, luckily I was prepared and brought a trash can and towel, but he missed and got most of it on the seat. Oh well!! So now my poor little boy is finally sleeping (I had to wake him up again to take him to the doctor:() and we will have to give him a breathing treatment everyday for the next 3 months until we have another check up and they can tell us what to do next. So it's not too bad to have to give him a treatment everyday, but he still hates it and balls the whole time. It will also be interesting next month in Arkansas, because he had a pretty bad attack last time we were there. But I can't wait to be there!! And we will start him on Zyrtec this time before we go out, which should help. Anyways sorry to go on and on about my little man, but dang he definitely keeps me on my toes! Along with his sidekick Mags! They do make me laugh a lot though, thank goodness!!

man I didn't know that he has had a chronic sickness! That sucks, but at least he has a good mommy who doesn't get mad about throw up in the car :) when are you coming down?

My name is Susan Ward and i would like to show you my personal experience with Zyrtec.

I am 30 years old. Have been on Zyrtec for 3 months now. I thought I was dying! It must be cancer or some disease. I felt that bad. I exercise 6 days a week and I know my body very well. I new something wasn't right but never thought it would be an allergy pill to blame. Within three months these symptoms hit hard. I tracked it back to the day I started taking this medication. The side effects didn't hit me right away. I was just happy to be able to breathe. So I'm assuming the clinical trials for this drug were not long enough to witness these types of side effects. I'd rather deal with the allergies than these side effects. Glad to know others feel the same. I'm not just going crazy.

I have experienced some of these side effects -
Major fatigue, gained 13 lbs in 3 month period very unusaul for me). wild mood swings, major depression, loss of short term memory. Stop taking the pill and fill almost back to normal.

I hope this information will be useful to others,
Susan Ward
