Mothers

I am so blessed to have the mother that I do! She made so many sacrifices for our family without a second thought and never made her kids feel like a burden (Even though we were:)). She just did what she knew she needed to do everyday and has filled her life with service to all 6 of her children, 11 grandkids and Dad. There is nothing in this world like a mother and the love she has for her children. I see that now that I am a mother. Even though there are too many times that I get annoyed or frustrated or hurt by my 2 kids, I never want to stop being their mother and serving and loving them like my mother served and loved me! Motherhood really is the hardest job anyone will ever have, where you get paid in hugs, I love yous, thank yous, and all the little signs of appreciation that we all take for granted sometimes.
I was also lucky to be able to marry into a family with an amazing mother. I never imagined that I would be able to become so close to my Mother-in-Law, but I have! I love talking to her and hearing how excited and sympathetic she is towards whatever is going on in our life. I am truly blessed to have 2 amazing mothers in my life, who do so much for our family even with all the distance between us. My kids are so lucky to have them for grandmas and feel so loved, when they are around. Thank you both Mom and Mama T. for all the things you do to make your kids and grandbabies feel important.
And to all the other mothers that I know in my life, who are such great mothers! Especially my sisters. Each of them have their own struggles they have to face and yet they stay strong and are doing amazing jobs with their babies. I hope you all have a great Mother's Day and feel appreciated and loved everyday of your life, but especially today!
