Potty Training
David's $20 he got for going pee-pee on the potty! Pretty pricey pee, huh?!
Isn't this the cutest picture of David and Mags!
Cowgirl Maggie! She would run around saying "stick 'em up!"
Well after 4 years and 4 months David has gone to the potty. On Thursday I had come downstairs to find poop all over the playroom floor. I decided then and there that I was done with diapers for David. So I threw away all of his diapers right then and he has been in underwear ever since. There have been a ton of accidents and a few tears, but we have stuck to it! We took out the $20 we use to buy his diapers and used is as a bribery. We put it on the mirror in the bathroom and kept reminding him. He said that he wants to buy 100 cars, so that he can fill up his train table! So cute! So then today Giselle came over and David told him to go potty. He then saw that I was making cookies and asked if he could have one. I told him sure as long as he went to the potty on the toilet! So he went and sat on the potty and I would go and check on him and as if he was ready to get off yet and he would say, "mom in just 10 more minutes. " So he was just sitting on the potty for quite a bit and then he called us upstairs and he had finally done it!! He peed on the potty!!!! We were all so excited. He got off the potty and said, "Mom can I have my $20 now and a cookie?!" He got a pretty good deal! He got a lot of cookies, $20, and he got to stay up late and watch his favorite show...America's funniest home videos! We are so excited. This is a huge step for our little David. We can do it!!!

Gabe's big Birthday Bash!!
My yard has a ton of tulips. They are all so pretty!! I love having so many fresh flowers!
I never got pictures of Maggie in her Easter dress. Busy days! So this is it!
Maggie's new haircut!!!
Things have been so amazingly busy lately. We had my Mom, Dad and Gabe here for a few days, Easter, Conference and then Gabe had his semester break so he was here for a couple of weeks. I have been pretty busy with my Mary Kay too, which is awesome!! Where does the time go? I can't believe it is almost May. Not too much else is going on. Just looking forward to getting out of debt and taking a much needed vacation! Just a few more months! We can do it!!

Let's Go Fly a Kite
The kids got some kites from the Easter bunny and were very anxious to fly them. David kept asking and asking last Tuesday, so I told him we could go, when Dad got home. He didn't forget! As soon as David got home, David informed him that we were going to go and fly their kites! So we did and it was freezing, but also perfect for kites because of all the wind! Dave and Maggie had a great time watching just not doing the hard work.:)

Easter and a great Visit!!

Aubree, Emma, Gabby, Maggie, Olivia, Madison and David after the big hunt. (Look at Mags and Livy!)
David was very excited to see that the easter bunny brought him a chocolate bunny just like he asked!
Coloring Easter eggs with Grandma.
We had a great Easter!! It was awesome because my mom and dad were in town for Conference and so we got to celebrate with them! The kids were especially excited about having them here. I don't think my mom had a moment without a grandkid asking for for. It's so cute! They love their Dee-dah! We took the kids to The Living Aquarium and had a great time. The only bad thing was that it is spring break in Utah and so it was PACKED~So many people. But the kids still had a great time. Then we had a yummy dinner at Trish's. Then Saturday all the girl's went to the afternoon session of General Conference and then the guy's went to the priesthood session that night. Then Sunday was the big Easter! It was so much fun! We had us, the DeVauxs, Greenwoods, Baileys, McCabes and then Giselle and Kevin. It was a full house! We loved it! Then the Easter bunny came and it was so cute seeing all of the kids getting so excited and running out to race for the most eggs! They all got about the same amount of eggs...except Olivia who had to stop and make a poopy and only got about 10 eggs. Too bad for Livy! It was so nice to have a big backyard and have a good part of our family here to help us celebrate. Oh and all the yummy food by the way! Oh how I love my mom's cooking. Nothing like a yummy brisket and all the fixin's to go with it! UMMMMM! Yum! Thanks Mom and Dad for coming out and for all the great things you do for us!
