Laundry Room Makeover

Here is David's old office with the laundry room back behind it.

The washer and drier are right behind the wall there.

And down goes the wall

The mess of everything that was in the laundry room that had to be moved...a little clutter is so fun. :(

The new shelves

Tada!!!

This triangle over on the left was a huge project.  David is so good at all this stuff! There was wood going all the way down to the floor, which made the space unusable. Not anymore!

This is where all of David's servers and computer stuff is stored

This is the "hallway" in the storage/ laundry room. To the right is where David's computer and server space is at.

This was a HUGE project we took on...and by we I mean David mostly!:) I have a hard time helping much with Parker around.  We have had this space for 3 years that David has been using for his office, but it was not the best office. One, it didn't have heating or air and two, it doesn't have any insulation.  So we were doing some changing around and David decided that we could move his office out of there and make it a food storage room.  We decided to take down the wall, because it was just a waste of space and made the room harder to use.  So down came the wall.  Then David added some walls and a door to where all of his servers are at, so that they will be safe from dust and stuff.  The easiest part of the whole project was actually the shelves for the food storage.  Taking down the wall was a pill, because the washer and dryer were hooked up to the wall, so David have to do some electrical work with it.  We started on this last Friday and after 7 long days of David working from the time he got home from work, until about 9:00 at night, he finally finished.  Oh, so much work, but we are so excited to have it done and have a place to get our food storage started!  Eventually we want to finish up the room and add all the insulation and drywall to it.  Oh the never ending process of being a home owner.
