We were so glad to have Gabe and Molly bless baby Penny at our house. It was crazy how many people we fit in that tiny living room of ours. I think there were about 40 people in the house. Gabe gave a really sweet blessing for Penny. Although I didn’t hear any of it, because my sweet son, Parker, screamed bloody murder through the whole thing. I was over in the corner with him and as soon as Gabe started the blessing Parker started screaming. I was trapped. There was no way for me to get out unless I threw him through the window, which did cross my mind. I had to just hold him down and put my hand over his mouth the whole time. It was so awkward. I felt so bad, but it did bring back some memories of his blessing.
We had some delicious food afterwards and had a great time visiting with Molly’s family. It was a special day and we love having little Penny in our family and seeing Gabe and Molly as parents!
