Parker loves eating baby food!

Parker started eating solid food on August 11th and loves his baby food! His favorite is bananas. I love it because it helps me out (a little) with the feedings! He is growing up so fast!

4 months!!

Parker is 4 months old!! I love the four month mark for so many reasons! The biggest reason is because he gets to start eating solid foods!!!!! It is so nice to have that help. Since my kids are not fans of bottles, it is all mommy until 4 months hits. It never comes soon enough. We have given him a few bites of some foods this past week and he acts like he has been doing it forever. He is already a pro. Today is the first day with real baby food, so I am very excited about that! We'll see how it goes. Parker is just the cutest baby! He has a huge personality already. His new thing is to stick out his tongue at anyone and everyone that looks at him. He thinks he is pretty funny! He also has a love for his 2 fingers and can self soothe pretty well...when he wants to!:) He loves to smile and laugh. David and Maggie love to help him with this. He has just started to like playing peek-a-boo. He can't get enough of it. He loves his hands and is always playing with them. He also discovered his feet about 2 weeks ago and usually has one hand in his mouth and the other grabbing his feet. He also has a love for holding his ear, when he is going to sleep or tired. He has a lot of signs for when he is tired, which is helpful! He loves his high chair and being in the kitchen to watch mommy cook. He can roll over from his back to his stomach, but can only get to his side from his back. As for sleeping, there is not much of that going on unless he is in his swing, which I know is awful, but I get desperate for anything. In his swing he will sleep from 7:00 p.m. until anywhere from 2:00a.m. to 4:00 a.m. which I love!! In his bed he will sleep 2-3 hours and then by 4:00 a.m. he only wants to sleep with me. I have dug my own grave I know. You think that I would learn by the 3rd kid, but what can I say. Each of my kids is so amazingly different that I just have to do what works best for each one and they won't be this age for very long I have figured out, so I try to enjoy all the extra snuggle time that I have with him.
Parker is such a sweet kid and we love having him in our family. He brings a smile to everyone he sees. That smile is just contagious. Love you Parker Scott!:)

Parker loves his feet! He also loves to be in the playroom with the kids! He is just too cute!

Lagoon

This is Maggie and Miley. Maggie loves Miley. They are BFFs at church! They always compliment each other on the other's dress or bow or jewelery. They are too cute!

Parker was amazing pretty much the whole day! He was just a happy baby!







Our ward went to Lagoon this past Saturday. We got an amazing deal on the tickets! We had a great time! It was fun to have the whole ward there. We were able to hang out and get to know a few of the families better. There are a few families that have kids that are all basically the same age as ours, which is awesome because that means that all of our kids have someone their age to play with. I really do love our ward out here! We have been in 3 wards since moving to Utah and this was the first ward to welcome us and really try to go out of their way to make us feel welcome. Maggie has made a good friend. Miley is her name and they are in Sunbeams together and always give hugs and compliment the other. It is way cute! Maggie was so excited that we hung out with Miley all day at Lagoon. She was very brave too! The only ride she didn't like was the ferris wheel. She was TERRIFIED! I don't blame her at all. I actually don't like the Ferris Wheel either, but I put on a brave face for her. The poor girl was shaking and crying the whole time and saying she wanted off right now. Poor baby!:( She had no fear with the others though. David really had no fear as well and was pretty disappointed that he couldn't ride the big rides. He gets that from big David definitely. It was a great family day and we loved every minute of it! Parker was amazing the whole day as well. He couldn't have been better. He's such a cutie! The worst time was when we had to leave...that's when it all went really bad and the kids realized how tired they were. They were grumpy and bed time couldn't get here soon enough, especially for me! I was out very soon after getting home. Feeding Parker and seeing him fall asleep always makes me so tired, so I was done as soon as we got home. I can't believe it's already August and summer is almost to an end. So crazy, but it has been a great summer! :)

Parker has found a new love for being in the playroom with Maggie and David. He loves watching them.

So many cute pictures of my kids that I have some how missed posting this month! Time flies, when you have a newborn. That's for sure! 4 months has flown by in a flash. David will be starting kindergarten before I know it and summer will be over. It seems like we don't have a summer at all in Utah. It usually stays in the 60s for most of June. This year it was warmer than usual. It was in the 70's, but still not warm enough to break out the swimsuits. And then we will be having our first snow in just a couple of months. Oh, Utah snow and winters.
I feel like I am having a really hard time remembering anything this past month. I don't know if it is because of sleep deprivation or what, but it is worse than usual this past month. Hopefully my memory will come back soon!
