Aren't they cute?!
August was such a fun month.  Mostly because of the wedding of Gabe and Molly.  They got married in the Mount Timpanogas Temple here in Utah, which meant all the family came out here for the big day! I was glad I didn't have to tote my kids around anywhere far this year. We needed a break from long trips! So on Wednesday, August 8 at various times of the day all of the DeVaux's came in from Arkansas.  Mom and Dad drove out and brought Pam and Ellie  with them.  Oscar, Tara, Ada Belle and Oscar drove out as well, but stopped off in Pagosa Springs, Colorado for a night in my Grandma's cabin.  Marji got in at 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday night.  I think Pam had the most exciting trip with my mom and dad and their stay in a "motel."  I wish I had the pictures of the place my Dad made them stay over at.  It did not look good and Dad was very proud of the fact that it cost only $39 a night, if that gives you any hints as to how bad it was! Good times!  I spent Wednesday doing last minute shopping baking the cupcakes and getting the briskets all marinated. While also preparing myself mentally for all 15 people that would be in our house. It's moments like that, when my house feels so small and one or two more bedrooms wouldn't hurt!:)  Thursday we spent decorating cupcakes, making 1 or 2 dips for appetizers, finishing the barbeque brisket and getting everything else in order.  We still had some time to do a little sister shopping too! We had a great time meeting all of Molly's family.  She has a huge family and they are a lot of fun. After eating and talking for a little bit we all headed home.  Us sisters got Gabe a few little gifts for his last night as a single guy. He is so lucky to have us. :) Then we were all in bed pretty early after the long day of cooking and shopping we had.  It was a great way to send off Gabe and Molly into married life!
