David started First Grade on Wednesday, August 29. He was soooo excited to be back in school. He was also excited to be able to eat lunch at school! He was up by 7:00a.m. that morning or maybe earlier. He goes to school from 8:45-3:20. It is a big jump from his 2 hours in kindergarten.:) He has a great teacher, Miss Gurney. She is very sweet and seems to love what she does! I have LOVED only having 2 kids. It makes going to the store much easier and one less kid asking for snacks all day helps too!:) David is doing great with his reading and is above where he should be for his age. He has gotten 100% on his spelling tests and is getting better with his handwriting. He is such a smart kid and we are glad to have him in first grade and learning so much so fast!
