This year I have been very lazy. Which is why we chose to have the kids paint their pumpkins instead of us carving them. Or the better reason could be that we wanted the kids to really make their own pumpkins. :) Whichever sounds better! They really had a great time painting them and making them their own. Maggie's is a cat. David did a pumpkin. Until they are old enough to handle knives I really don't mind this tradition!:)
