Orange Room, Water Hose Fun and More!!

One day we were watering the garden and then some how it got a little out of control and we were all soaking wet!! It sure was fun though!!


David has been asking to paint his room for a while now. We kept putting it off. For one reason he wanted his room orange and not just any orange, the brightest orange they had! So last Wednesday when David got home from Scout camp, we decided to go ahead and go for it! So we painted it and David LOVES it!! It's bright, but its not too bad! We don't have to sleep in there!:) So now we are done with painting for a little while. In other news...we are going to come to Arkansas 2 weeks from today!! Everything happened so quick, but I decided to hitch a ride with the Baileys and then fly home! I am so excited it has been over a year since I have been home and I can't wait to get there. David and Maggie are very happy about it all too. David just keeps saying, "Oh I love Arkansas!" It's too cute!! So many exciting things!!

What more can I say about our Maggie Pie?! She is always there for a laugh and very entertaining and dramatic. I was at Target today and saw the butterfly headband, butterfly wand and a jewelery set in the dollar spot. I just had to get it since it was so dang cute and cheap! I brought it home and Maggie reacted just how I knew she would..."OH Mom...I love it! Thank you much!!" Too cute! I really do have the cutest kids!!

The Puppet Show!
We had the best 4th of July!!! We had us, the Baileys, Greenwoods, Robinsons, Webers, McCabes, Gabe, Hannah and Trish's friend from college Jessica. There were a lot of people under one roof, but it was so much fun. There was tons of food, stories, laughing and talking!! I guess we were a little loud, but how can you have fun without being loud, right?! I do feel sorry for our spouses and all they had to listen to. We played some lively games of Spoons except all of our spoons were dirty so we had to use plastic knives. It got pretty heated and there was a little blood, but nothing too bad!:) Then we had a little firework show. It was a great night and weekend! I love holidays so much and getting together with so many friends and family. It makes being out in Utah so much easier. Hope everyone had a great 4th of July!!

I have been trying to post for about a week now and have been unsuccessful! I have downsized quite a bit on toys. It is amazing how much better they play with less toys. We also took apart the bunk beds and separated Maggie and David completely. We also added some of their toys to their own rooms, so they can have their own area to play and have some alone time. It has been awesome!! They both love their own rooms and some space of their own. It is so nice having our room downstairs and so big and great!!

So Wednesday David and I were talking about how nice it would be to make the kids play room our master bedroom...and Thursday I started making the switch! I LOVE it!!!! I don't know what we were thinking making this room a playroom. I guess it was partly because I didn't want to be on a separate level from the kids and there is no adjoined bathroom. But I could not handle our tiny bedroom and closet anymore. I had to turn sideways to get to my bed and the closet was just a little dinky thing! So David actually added a door to our hallway downstairs and made it more like a little suite for our new bedroom! It is amazing. After 3 days of complete chaos and trying so hard to get it all done, we finally finished last night around 10:00. I had a little hard time with the kids upstairs by themselves and didn't sleep too good. Just paranoid being this far from the kids and on separate levels! Oh well I will survive and the kids were very excited about our new room. We made our old master into my office and guest bedroom. It is huge without 2 dressers and a king size bed~ Crazy huh?! I love projects though! It is so much fun to remodel. Hope y'all like the pictures!!

Summer time!

Maggie's favorite thing to do is fill up a bucket with water and then carry them up by the door and poor it out! It is pretty cute. She has such determination.
