David was baptized on Saturday, December 21, 2103 at 6:00 p.m.  It was such a special day! We were lucky to have so much family in town to help us celebrate this special day.  Both sets of grandparents were there and lots of cousins and aunts and uncles!  He was baptized and confirmed a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints by his dad, David. He had a very special blessing when he was confirmed a member.  We are so proud of him for making such a great decision to be baptized.  It was amazing that even Parker sat still and quiet through the whole thing.  We had Grandma Torgerson and DeVaux give talks on baptism and the holy ghost.  They both did an amazing job with them.  Grandpa DeVaux and Torgerson were the witnesses for the baptism. Aunt Trish and Uncle Austin gave the prayers. Alice-Anne sweetly played the piano for us and Aunt Genevieve conducted the music for us. We sang “Baptism” and “Jesus wants Me For a Sunbeam.”  While he was getting dressed we watched a video of David’s 8 years on this earth.  Then we had the primary presidency welcome him and the bishopric.  Then we had some yummy treats afterwards.

David was so cute during the whole day.  He was pretty excited and as he said not nervous at all about the baptism.  We are so proud of him for all the amazing things that he does and the small ways he helps around the house without complaining and even without being asked. He is just a great kid and we are so lucky to have him in our family!!
