This was my parents first time to go to Temple Square to see the lights and boy did we pick a popular night to go! I am pretty sure that everyone in the state of Utah was there that night. It had been pretty bad weather the past few days before that Monday night and it was 2 days until Christmas, so I think we were just asking for trouble. I seriously felt like sheep the whole night. It was insane!!! But it was great weather and it was still very nice to see all the amazing lights. I think my parents enjoyed it, but it’s hard to say!
I think the ones that enjoyed it the most were Elizabeth and Penny, because they were in strollers all bundled up and warm and didn’t have to worry about keeping everyone together. My husband David especially had a hard time with it. He hates crowds and this just pushed him over the edge. Live and learn…but the kids seemed to enjoy it and I love making memories for them!
